Join us for a fun family event celebrating Ramadan and Eid with a storytime, crafts, colouring and henna! Participants will learn about the month of fasting, the lunar calendar, and how Eid is celebrated.

Celebrate the contributions of Black artists in our community! This event will feature a diverse range of artistic expressions including music, dance, poetry, visual arts and more. Light refreshments will be provided while supplies last.

Do you still have precious family videos on VHS cassettes? Music on vinyl LP discs or even cassette tapes? Learn how to unlock and preserve your memories and convert your analog material to digital using Maker Space equipment.

Learn with Dr. Natasha Henry-Dixon about the long history of early Black settlement in Ontario. 

Participants will learn the basics of the linocut process to design, carve, and print their own rubber animal stamps. Using special tools, fine detail can be achieved to capture an animal’s intricate features and its unique character.
