Le Centre d'emploi francophone de Durham (CEFD) est un pôle d’emploi francophone qui favorise l'intégration professionnelle des francophones de la région de Durham.

The COFRD offers services to newcomers in needs’ assessment and referral, information and orientation, community connections through the Settlement Workers in Schools (SWIS) program, support services, group activities, and workshops.

Register for this hands-on program which focuses on how you can help your child learn early literacy skills with five simple practices: talking, reading, singing, writing and playing. Parent/caregiver participation is required.

This storytime takes place in a quiet and safe environment. It includes interactive stories, songs, action-rhymes, fingerplays and sensory activities which promote literacy skills and development.

The library will be hosting a unique event catering to families with children who identify as being neurodivergent to come and experience the library prior to regular operating hours.

The Durham Community Health Centre team will be on site at the Central Library, hosting a resource table focusing on hepatitis c and harm reduction overdose protection.

This program will introduce infants to interactive songs, nursery rhymes, music, creative movement and musical instruments.

Meet up with fellow makers every Thursday! Bring your own projects, share ideas, and socialize.

An Ontario Disability Support Program (ODSP) Caseworker from the Oshawa office will be onsite every Friday at the Central Library to assist you, and no appointment is necessary.
