The COFRD offers services to newcomers in needs’ assessment and referral, information and orientation, community connections through the Settlement Workers in Schools (SWIS) program, support services, group activities, and workshops.
COFRD staff can assist clients in their decision-making by providing key information about the Durham region, including the healthcare system, social services, transportation, housing, education, and more.
