This Newcomer Housing Journey Map was created by the Durham Local Immigration Partnership (DLIP) for newcomers looking to find rental housing in Durham Region, Ontario, Canada, with limited financial resources. The journey to finding housing can be long and challenging due to the current housing shortage. This tool offers a list of resources that a newcomer may need to find housing, including assistance that newcomers may be eligible to receive and supports available to guide individuals through each step of the process.
