Who doesn’t love to make up stories? Learn the art of fiction by dissecting the following characteristics: character, plot, theme, setting, dialogue, and more!
The Creative Writing Series is intended for writers who want to produce a collection of poetry or short stories but don’t know where to begin. Each month from October to May, we will unpack a different stage of the writing process from drafting to publication. The series culminates in your work being featured in a published anthology that will be added to the library's collection! *
* You must attend at least three of the Creative Writing Series events and be a Pickering Public Library cardholder to be considered for the anthology.
