Come and discover how local animals are adapted to life at night, and design your own pastel resist masterpiece to celebrate our nocturnal neighbourhood ecosystems! Each participant will leave the workshop with a unique composition. No prior experience is necessary!
Presenter Bio
Susan Munderich is an elementary teacher and award-winning artist, whose linocut prints celebrate biodiversity, conservation and adaptations. Her work is in private collections all over the world and has been in exhibitions through galleries in Canada, the United States, and Australia. Over her 27 year career with the Durham District School Board, she has created and facilitated a range of arts-based professional development opportunities for teachers, and has been an instructor and visual arts coordinator at the Durham Integrated Arts Camp.
