Crochet for the Soul is a workshop focused on learning basic crochet skills as well as connecting and sharing our own stories around creating textile/fibre art (or any art).

Come explore the science behind slime with Junior Einsteins slime workshop! Explore non Newtonian fluid slime, learn about Newton's Law of Viscosity and long chain polymer slime. Each child will be making and taking home their own slime!

Join us for a fun and creative origami workshop where participants will explore the traditional Japanese art of paper folding. Participants will learn how to make simple and beautiful origami creations such as cranes, flowers, animals and more!

Travel across Europe through art! Participants will create their own stunning tissue paper "stained glass" window art using the silhouettes of iconic European landmarks.

Indigenous families and allies are invited to join Victoria Grant Rozentals (Star Feather Woman) in making mini powwow drum/shakers. These are the perfect size for tiny tots to shake and drum around the powwow circle.

Explore the colours and textures of the desert through sand art! Using a variety of materials, use your imagination to create a one-of-a-kind design to take home. Supplies will be provided.
