Come listen to nature stories and songs! A portion of this storytimes involves going outside into the reading garden or taking a walk to the park outside the library. Please dress for the weather.

c_wonder Coding Workshops aim to introduce children to the fundamentals of coding and its applications in the real world.

Fun with SCIENCE! Come witness the power of sublimation as we blow up balloons, make bubbles, and run other fun experiments with frozen carbon dioxide! Supplies will be provided. 

Join us in-person as we play with LEGO. Let your creativity be your guide! Supplies will be provided.

Join Parks Canada as they teach the basics of camping. Topics will include campsite booking, equipment, fire building, safety, preparedness, and more! They will show participants how to set-up a tent and a campfire (without lighting anything).

Make your own galaxy with space creatures, whirligigs, and flying saucers. Supplies will be provided.

Games, Music, and Snacks. Every week, every time. A Youth Outreach Worker from Durham Community Health Centre will be on site. Resources included. All welcome.

This is a program for teens (ages 13-19).

Come spend an evening at the movies...at the library! We will be watching Elemental. Snacks will be provided.
