Please join us at the Ontario Tech University Round Dance "Honoring MMIWG2SP" celebrating community, connection and culture on Friday February 20, 2026 from 5pm to 9pm (E.S.T) at the Downtown Campus at Ontario Tech University 61 Charles Street (Charles Hall Atrium), Oshawa, ON. All are welcome and no registration is required.

Special Guests: Jessica McKenzie (Former Miss Indigenous Canada) and Doug Jamieson (Oshawa FireWolves Goalie)

Masters of Ceremony:

Elder - Tom Cowie, MC - Darren DJ McGregor, Stickman - Beega Johnson, Pipeman - Darren DJ McGregor.

Invited Singers:

Gerry McComb, Matthew Lavallee, Nathan Roy, Jared Big Canoe, Kaelen Pelletier, Jayden Wemigwans, Taylor Musgrave with the first 5 walk-in singers to be honoured.

  • Round Dance will begin at 6pm, Giveaway at 8:30 pm
  • Vendor and Info Tables 5-8pm, Early ON Family Activities on-site 5-8pm.
  • Drug and alcohol-free event, wheelchair accessible, limited parking, light refreshments provided.
