Event Details

This presentation highlights best practices for successfully growing culinary herbs in your garden, whether it be in containers or in your garden bed. Tips for harvesting, methods of preserving and other culinary uses are also discussed.

About the presenter: Leah Kuhne joined Durham Master Gardeners in 2022 motivated by her love of plants and gardening. As a Master Gardener in Training, Leah draws on her lifelong backyard gardening skills and is expanding her horticultural knowledge through the University of Guelph. Leah is a Food Scientist and Red Seal Chef and loves to combine her knowledge of food with fruit, vegetable and herb gardening to make lots of homegrown meals and preserves.
