This session will provide you with general legal information about who can enter into a family law contract, including:

    • Understand the role of agreements such as marriage contracts, cohabitation agreements, and separation agreements, both before and after family law disputes arise, and who can enter into these agreements.

    • Learn about what can and cannot be included in various family law contracts.

    • Explore scenarios where family law contracts are beneficial

 

About the presenter:

Since her Call to the Bar in 2017, Danielle has exclusively practiced family law, including parenting, support, and the division of family property.

Danielle was one of 61 legal advisors in Canada who participated in the testing of the Department of Justice Canada's HELP Toolkit, which was published in 2022 and is a key resource for family lawyers across the country.

Danielle takes pride in providing compassionate client service and helping her clients resolve their matters through negotiation, mediation, and/or litigation, and represents clients in both the Ontario Court of Justice and Superior Court of Justice.
