Creative Writing Series: Drafting

When you start a writing project, you may feel overwhelmed with ideas. Join us in the Auditorium for tips on organizing your thoughts, how to build the skeleton of your project, and what you should consider in the earliest stages of your work.

The Creative Writing Series is intended for writers who want to produce a collection of poetry or short stories but don’t know where to begin. Each month from January to July, we will unpack a different stage of the writing process from drafting to publication. The series culminates in your work being featured in a published anthology that will be added to the library's collection! *

* You must attend at least 3 of the Creative Writing Series events to be included in the anthology.
