Visit representatives from the Durham Region's Health Department to learn about 'April is Oral Health month'. 

This year's focus is “Your Child’s Oral Health”. At this information table, you can learn about Healthy Smiles Ontario and the importance of oral health from birth, as well as local resources to support oral health.

Healthy Smiles Ontario offers free dental care to children and youth 17 and under. Children and youth must qualify for the program. Healthy Smiles Ontario covers basic or emergency dental needs.

Services include:

  • X-rays
  • Fillings
  • Removal of teeth if necessary
  • Cleanings
  • Fluoride treatment
  • Pit and fissure sealants
  • Mouthguard fittings
