Solo Work Pod 3

Work Pods are located on the 2nd floor of the Central Library, you may take the stairs or elevator from the lobby to reach the 2nd floor.

Pod Bookings:

• Arrive on time for your booked session and proceed directly to your reserved work pod. See our map below for the location of the pods. Work Pods are held for 15 minutes and may be allotted to the next person if you are late.
• Vacate the work pod promptly at the end of your booking.
• Work Pods can be booked a maximum of 36 hours in advance for 2 hours each day. If you need to extend your session, please check in with our staff for availability.
• No more than the designated maximum occupancy should be in the room at any given time.
• Food and drinks are allowed, however, remember to clean up and dispose of any waste when you are finished using the work pod.
• Report any equipment or maintenance issues to staff immediately. You will be held responsible for costs of any repair, maintenance or cleaning of the work pod that occur during your booking.
• Follow the Library’s Code of Conduct Policy. Disruptive behavior may result in exclusion of use of Library services and spaces.

Pod Features:

This work pod provides a quiet work space for a single individual at no cost. The work pod contains an adjustable table with enough space for a laptop along with a chair and power outlet. A Pickering Public Library card in good standing is required to book a work pod. The work pod can be booked for up to 2 hours.
