Have you ever wondered where maple syrup comes from? Come join us and learn more about maple syrup. Participants will engage in crafts and learn about why maple trees are so important to our environment.

A creative writing workshop led by Canadian children's author, Erica London. This workshop is crafted to inspire and nurture the imaginative minds of young writers, fostering a love for storytelling and self-expression.

This program offers a group experience for parents and babies focusing on the pleasure and power of using rhymes, songs, and stories together.

This program will introduce infants to interactive songs, nursery rhymes, music, creative movement and musical instruments.

Meet up with fellow makers every Thursday! Bring your own projects, share ideas, and socialize.

An Ontario Disability Support Program (ODSP) Caseworker from the Oshawa office will be onsite every Friday at the Central Library to assist you, and no appointment is necessary.

In this presentation, Durham Master Gardeners will provide the home gardener with the right knowledge and skills to make them successful at starting seeds at home for planting in the spring.

Boost your child's STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering, Math) skills with Ontario Tech University's Engineering Outreach Team!

This program will introduce infants to interactive songs, nursery rhymes, music, creative movement and musical instruments.

Games, Music, and Snacks. Every week, every time. A Youth Outreach Worker from Durham Community Health Centre will be on site. Resources included. All welcome.

This is a program for teens (ages 13-19).

For newcomers in the Pickering area looking to practice conversational English, meet new people, and learn about your community. Join us for a one hour conversation circle in partnership with Community Development Council Durham.

Do you love games, coffee, and snacks? Then come to the library for some good coffee, fun games, and great conversation at Pickering Public Library's Game Night!  

The Youth Leadership Program with Toastmasters International is geared for youth to develop their communication and leadership skills through practical experience.
