Are you new to Canada and not sure how to find a job? Join this workshop presented by the Pickering Welcome Centre to help you with your job search! 

The Neighbourhood Organization (TNO) is a community-based, multi-service agency dedicated to offering a broad range of community services.

This program will introduce children to interactive songs, nursery rhymes, music, creative movement and musical instruments.

An introductory session that builds understanding of autism and neurodiversity, including how autistic people may experience and interact with the world. 

Meet up with fellow makers every Thursday! Bring your own projects, share ideas, and socialize.

A Youth Outreach Worker from Durham Community Health Centre will be on site. Resources included.

Get ready to get messy and make something magical! In this hands-on program, kids will create their very own plantable paper packed with seeds. Shape it, decorate it, and take it home—then plant it in soil and watch it grow!

An Ontario Disability Support Program (ODSP) Caseworker from the Oshawa office will be onsite every Friday at the Central Library to assist you, and no appointment is necessary.

Time to get crafty! Come and get creative with a variety of fun craft supplies. Supplies will be provided.

Dive into the amazing world of turtles! Participants will learn how to identify different local turtle species, discover cool conservation facts, and rotate through hands-on activity stations full of shell-tastic fun!

Celebrate Earth Day by decorating a pencil case or tote bag to promote sustainability and reduce waste. Supplies will be provided.

Take part in Earth Day activities by creating art with recycled materials. Do your part to lower waste while making a masterpiece! Supplies will be provided.

Earth Day is April 22, 2026! Celebrate by creating a colorful work of art out of recycled paper. No art experience required.
