Social Services Community Supports
An Ontario Works Outreach Worker from the Region of Durham will be onsite every Wednesday at the Central Library to assist you, and no appointment is necessary. The Outreach Worker can connect you to a variety of social services, supports, and resources, including financial resources, housing, food security, counselling, children’s services referrals, assistance to replace government issued ID, and more.
The Outreach Worker can also contact community agencies on your behalf and assist with online government application forms.
