Poetry Slam Contest! (Grades 1-8)

Do you enjoy writing poems? If so, submit a poem for the Library's Poetry Slam Contest! The poem must be no longer than a page. Entries will be divided into the following categories: grades 1-2 | 3-4 | 5-6 | 7-8. Writers are required to submit their poem by email to kids@pickeringlibrary.ca or drop off to any Pickering Public Library location by April 30. Please include your name, grade, and email address. Winners of a prize draw for each category will be announced on social media in May.
