Event Details
Long ago, quilts were more than just blankets — they were a form of communication. During a time when enslaved people were not free, some quilt patterns were used as symbols to offer hope and guidance on the journey toward freedom. In this workshop, participants will colour their own quilt square with a unique pattern. All the squares will be put together to create a beautiful Freedom Quilt to display in the library!
