Imagine the future from a PanAfrican/ AfroIndigenous perspective with Jam's Creative Lab this Black History Month. Perfect for writers and visual artists alike, this collaborative multi-media workshop will provide space to explore the concept of Afrofuturism through writing and collage making. All snacks and supplies will be provided.
Jamaica/Jam Bridgett (they/them) is a Black queer visual artist, writer, and facilitator who seeks to centre collective healing and community building using art. They've recently partnered with organizations like the Ifarada Centre for Excellence, Shoot for Peace, the Christian Faith Outreach Centre and JAYU Canada to facilitate communal art making workshops across the GTA.
