Bring in the Jewish New Year! Join co-director of Chabad Chana Borenstein and community member Emma Cunningham to talk about how to start a sweet new year during the Jewish holiday of Rosh Hashanah. We’ll talk about the history of the holiday, explore some of the key themes, discuss how we start the new year fresh at Rosh Hashanah, and end off the evening by tasting Rosh Hashanah treats like apples and honey and a special round Challah (a type of egg bread traditionally enjoyed by Jews.) Whether you’re Jewish or not, we wish you a sweet New Year!
